PEORIA, Ill. -- A jury has been selected for the murder trial of 20-year-old Wesley Collins.
Collins is charged with four counts of first degree murder, as well as attempted murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
The victim was 20 year old Shannon Elmore.
In October of 2011, she was shot while sitting in a parked car near the intersection of Columbia Terrace and Ellis.
She died at an area hospital.
The intended target was reportedly another man who was not injured.
Collins turned himself in nine days after the shooting.
Last week, 21 year old Terrance Tuson was sentenced to 70 years in prison for his role in the crime.
