A Keystone steel employee is dead after being injured inside the steel plant.

According to Peoria County Corona Johnna Ingeroll, 51 year old David Hezlep, from Cuba, Illinoi, was driving a golf cart in the mill section of the plant when the golf cart veered off the designated path and collided with a horizontal I-beam. Hezlet was pinned in the golf cart, under the beam.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
