PEORIA, Ill -- Secretary of Transportation Ray Lahood says he isn't sure how much longer he'll be on the job.

In January he announced he would be stepping down. He thinks now that other big confirmations are out of the way, including Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense, the president will focus on replacing him.

"I am so busy in this job it is really impossible to think about the future," said LaHood. "But when I walk out the door hopefully the phone will ring and we will see where it takes us."

Lahood has been secretary of transportation since President Obama took office.
