Lane closures on I-74

PEORIA, Ill. -- Motorists should be aware of a lane closure happening on I-74 just east of the Main Street overpass in Morton on Thursday.

The Illinois Department of Transportation says the eastbound right lane will be closed from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 31. 

The closure is necessary for fiber optic work to be completed.
 
Please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
