SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- The election for Illinois governor isn't until next year, but one union is already throwing its support behind a candidate.

Teamsters Joint Council 25 wants Pat Quinn to be re-elected.

The union represents more than 100,000 workers across Illinois.

Quinn is a former member of the union, from 1969 to 1971 while attending college.
