PEORIA, Ill. -- Thousands of people gathered at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria to celebrate Easter.

Many more were able to enjoy the service from their television screens or radios.

The service was broadcast live on two radio stations and on WEEK.

Senior Pastor Bryan Chapell said live broadcasts are a perfect way for to participate for those who might not be able to otherwise.

"We love being able to include people in our worship service," said Chapell. "So many people want to be here and can't be here and so by being able to broadcast live they're able to join us in a worship service and not deal with a delayed broadcast."

Sunday was the first live broadcast from Grace Presbyterian since 2010.
