CENTRAL ILLINOIS -- An Illinois lawmaker is encouraging residents to become concealed carry instructors.

State Representative Jehan Gordon-Booth sent out a message, urging all qualified residents to look into becoming concealed carry instructors.

"When residents are receiving their training for concealed carry license, they will be able to stay in our community," said Rep. Gordon-Booth.
