METAMORA, Ill. -- Friday is the Chicago Cubs home opener.

100 year old Louie Reinhart got a grand send off this morning at Snyder Village as he headed to the game.

His 100th birthday just happens to coincide with the 100th anniversary of wrigley field this year.

Because he is a life long cubs fan, the team's owner invited him to the home opener to present the ball.

Louie says he first became a cubs fan because his father worked near Wrigley field and he was friends with some of the players.
