Illinois Politicians are back from the Republican National Convention in Tampa.
U.S. Representative Bobby Schilling made an appearance in Canton Friday back from the Republican convention.
Schilling says that he is a big Paul Ryan supporter and the convention was a good way for the United States to find leaders to lead our country out of debt.
The main focus for Representative Schilling, is to find and eliminate problems in the country.
"We've got to stop being democrats and republicans and become Americans. We gotta fix the problems that are out there. We gotta stop spending the money we don't have. And I think what we've seen here in the last few years is kind of going in the wrong direction," said U.S. Representative Bobby Schilling.
U.S. Democratic Senator, Dick Durbin was also at the Republican convention.
He was in attendance to comment on any statements made about President Obama.
Senator Durbin says he was warmly welcomed and now its time to hear the democrats side in North Carolina.
"I think now of course we will hear the other side of the story. In North Carolina, in Charlotte, the democrats will have a chance to say what they have to say. But it goes beyond the halls in Charlotte and Tampa. The Real audience is the undecided voters out there. They may be a small group but they'll decide this election," said U.S. Democratic Senator Dick Durbin.
The democratic convention is scheduled to begin Tuesday in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Senator Durbin says he will be making the trip.
