PEORIA, Ill. -- A longtime Peoria establishment closed its doors for the last time Friday.

Sully's Pub and Cafe has been in downtown Peoria for 35 year but the owner said the economic downturn affected business and led to the decision to close.

Earlier this year, Sully's owed the state more than $100,000 in back taxes. The owner said that issue has been taken care of and is not why Sully's is closing.

There are future plans for the building that will be released some time next year.
