SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- The Stanley Cup made its second trip to the state capitol in four years.

Chicago Blackhawks Chairman Rocky Wirtz accompanied the trophy to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield Monday morning.

Governor Pat Quinn joined other civic leaders, elected officials and members of the armed forces in line to get a picture with the trophy.

Fans also got some time with Lord Stanley before and after the event.

The cup made an appearance at the state capitol building after the Blackhawks won the championship in 2010.
