MAPLETON, Ill. -- A family in Mapleton found a wandering pig Saturday afternoon.

Amanda Strausbaugh said the pig, which the neighborhood kids now call "Mr. Nibbles," was wandering near Acre Road, close to the corner of Cameron Lane and Lancaster in Mapleton.

Strausbaugh said the pig seemed very friendly, so she brought it in a heated garage and is feeding it some crackers and water.

Strausbaugh said she and her family will take good care of the pig until it can be reunited with its owner.

That family says the pig has now been safely reunited with its owner.
