TORONTO, CANADA --Toronto mayor Rob Ford was asked to take a leave of absence to "address his personal issues."

Ford's admitted smoking crack cocaine during, in his own words, a drunken stupor.

Mayor Ford today apologized to the city council and Toronto citizens, but said he wouldn't give up his position.

There is, however, an up-side to all the notoriety that Ford has brought to Toronto..

His office ordered one thousand "Mayor Rob Ford bobble-head dolls", and sold them, autographed for charity at twenty Canadian dollars each. That's about 19-thousand u-dollars America, and the money went to the United Way.

Some of the dollars are already on e-bay...going for a lot more.
