CHICAGO, Il. -- A small plane crashed on a busy road in Chicago this morning.
The nose crushed and smoking. A wing precisely placed through a van windshield.
News Media outlet, WGN sent their helicopters out for footage of the breaking event. Breaking into programming for live coverage. But the Anchors quickly had to recant the statements.
It turns out the crash was nothing but a stunt from the NBC hit show "Chicago Fire," which films in the windy city.
The Chicago Film Office had posted dozens of flyers notifying residents nearby that the filming would be happening.
Apparently the media and random passerbys did not take note.
