PORTLAND, Ore. -- Paul Stoute bought a car on E-Bay, except he didn't.

Mr. Stoute, of Portland, Oregon, got an email congratulating him on his purchase of a very used 1962 Austin Healy Sprite.

He'd been looking at cars on e-bay, but he hadn't made a bid on the car.

Then he realized his 14-month-old daughter liked playing with daddy's smartphone.

Yes, little Sorella, playing with the phone, bid $202, and bought a car.

The seller offered to let her out of the deal, but her dad figured, why not. He paid for the rusted car, that won't start, and has plans to put it together with his little girl.

He figures it'll be ready for her when she starts driving in about 15 years.

For now, he's added password protection to his phone..
