SACRAMENTO, CA. -- Two geese live in the pond at the Rose Garden in Sacramento, California. Whatever you do, don't take their picture...

Apparently that'll really get their feathers all riled up.

The geese are defending their territory, and anyone intruding is treated to an angry response.

It seems fairly obvious that when they extend their neck and hiss then they're ready to attack.

Some folks haven't got the message...apparently they think "angry Birds" is just a video game.

But, they don't seem to attack the hand that bathes them.

One man who feeds them is welcomed with open wings.

Which, of course, is reflected in that old saying "Beware of Geese if not baring gifts...' or something like that.
