LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The world's largest Ferris Wheel is now in Las Vegas.

It is appropriately named the "High Roller".

The outer wheel of the giant 55 story "High Roller" Ferris Wheel was hoisted high above the strip this week.

Once completed, it will be 100 feet taller than the London Eye and is already visible from just about all areas of Las Vegas.

Caesars Entertainment is building the ride as the centerpiece for its new outdoor plaza next to the Harrah's.

It will feature 28 glass capsules and more than 1500 LED lights.

The "High Roller" has been under construction for two years and is scheduled to debut early next year.

It will be a slow ride, taking approximately 30 minutes to make one revolution.
