Man arrested for shooting girlfriend during argument about 'The Walking Dead' TV show, police say

A bizarre story from New York.

According to a report from Newsday, a 26-year-old New York man was arrested Monday and charged with second-degree attempted murder after police said he shot his girlfriend in the back with a rifle during an argument over the the television show "The Walking Dead."

The woman was hospitalized as a result of the shooting, according to the Newsday report.
