NORMAL, Ill.-- In Normal, a 22-year-old Normal man faces weapons and intimidation charges for allegedly threatening to kill the family of an ex-girlfriend.
Tim J. Thormann faces a variety of charges over threats he allegedly texted to an 18-year old NCHS Senior.
For that, he was charged with intimidation and interference with a public institution of higher education.
When police arrested Thormann Tuesday in the NCHS parking lot, police said he had a knife and for that he's charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
Police said he never had access to the school itself.
He remains in McLean County jail in lieu of posting $1,000 bond.
He's scheduled to be back in court next week for a bond hearing and arraignment.
