Man fleeing police crushed to death in trash compactor

This was not the best spot to try to hide.

According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, police said a 37-year-old Nevada man died Wednesday after being crushed when he entered a trash compactor while fleeing from authorities. The trash compactor activated when the man entered it, according to the Gazette-Journal story.
