Man of steal: man accused of stealing 166 manhole covers

A alleged man of steal arrested by police in Florida.

According to a news release from the Polk County (Fla.) Sheriff's Office, a 40-year-old man was arrested Thursday for allegedly stealing 166 manhole covers with a collective value of more than $22,000.

According to the news release, the man is charged with 21 counts Grand Theft; 4 counts Dealing in Stolen Property; 4 counts False Verification to Secondhand Metal Dealer; and 166 counts Culpable Negligence Exposure to Harm.
