Man sentenced for deadly beating in 2010

PEORIA, Ill. -- In Peoria Circuit Court, 21-year-old Davon Renfro was sentenced to 38 years in prison for the murder of Todd Gunter.

Gunter was beaten outside Griswold Liquors in December of 2010.

Police said Renfro had asked for money from Gunter and after being refused, Renfro beat and kicked the 29-year-old.
