ILLINOIS-- A Washington State man who caused the death of a Bloomington Fire Fighter is headed to Prison.

29 year-old Mansur Shakirov was sentenced to four years today for felony reckless homicide.

Shakirov was charged with the crime after hitting 39-year-old firefighter Chris Brown last March.

Brown was part of a crew that responded to an accident on Interstate 39 near Hudson.

Prosecutors say Shakirov was driving too fast for road conditions.

Shakirov does get credit for the 117 days he has already served in jail.
