PEORIA, Ill. -- The IHSA boys basketball state finals are back at the Civic Center and that means the March Madness Experience is back as well.

Members of the media got a chance to check out the experience this morning competing in the Mega Media Challenge.

The News 25 team was made up of our very own reporters Anna Yee and Josh Simon, producers Corey Spencer and Chad Weber plus Photographer Larry Foulk.

This is the 18th year for March Madness in Peoria and the experience is just one of the events making the next two weekends some of the busiest all year.

"Space wise it's one of the largest events that we do. While this is going on we have other things going on as well. We have two events in the theater tonight and tomorrow. We have a Broadway Musical next week so it takes up a ton of the building but we still have a ton of stuff going on," Peoria Civic Center Assistant Director of Marketing Megan Pedgio.

Our team put on their game faces and gave it their best. They won't tell us exactly how they did, but they made sure we knew that we didn't finish last.

You can check out the experience starting tonight at 6 pm. Admisson is $2 a person or free with a ticket to one of the games.
