McDonald's on Baring Trace robbed by three armed suspects

PEORIA, Ill. -- Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at McDonald's, 4007 W. Baring Trace, on Tuesday night.

Police spoke to employees who said that three suspects came into the businesses' west side door, two of which armed with handguns, at 11:15 pm.

Witnesses say that the third suspect looked like a juvenille. The other two suspects were described as adult black women.

One of the suspects allegedly pepper sprayed on the victims. The victim said that the suspects took about $1000 from the registers. The suspects also stole a cell phone from one of the employees.

The suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a white SUV, specifically a newer model Chevy Blazer or Tahoe.

Police are still investigating the robbery, There are no known suspects.
