PEORIA, Ill. -- Methodist Medical Center is not only striving for customer service on a tangible level but also on a virtual level.
The healthcare system recently announced it has received a Gold award for Best Overall Site at the Annual Healthcare Internet Conference.
The award was presented earlier this year in Las Vegas, where a panel of 115 healthcare and internet specialists judged the competition for over 14 different categories.
Public Relations spokesman Duane Funk says Methodist was one of 240 healthcare organizations representing a broad industry spectrum, receiving recognition for outstanding websites and digital communications.
Methodist has received web site recognition each consecutive year since 2009.
