Peoria County Bar Association is pleased to announce its 104th president.

Attorney Kevin M. Miller was named to the position last Monday.

Miller has previously served in the 2010-2011 Board of Directors and chair of the Budget Committee for the Association.

A seasoned attorney, Miller is admitted to practicing law in the State Courts of Illinois and Iowa, the U.S. District Court of the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.

Miller succeeds former president Karl B. Kuppler.

The Peoria County Bar Association says it is "pleased and excited to welcome Kevin to the helm."

Also appointed as officers were President-Elect Judge Lisa Y. Wilson, Second Vice President James F. Kane, and Secretary-Treasurer Craig S. Young.
