PEORIA, Ill. -- It may not be baseball season, but you probably could not tell at the Children's Hospital of Illinois.

The Cardinals Caravan made a pit stop Monday afternoon at the Peoria hospital.

The group included four current players, two former players, and Fredbird, all of whom visited and interacted with the patients.

They also gave out free souvenirs, including soft baseballs, teddy bears, baseball cards, and of course autographs.

The Caravan was in town for an event on Sunday at the Embassy Suites in East Peoria.

They also made stops in Springfield and Mattoon.
