PEORIA, Ill. -- The Peoria Civic Center is gearing up for a whole lot of mud this weekend.
Dozens of trucks rolled into town on Thursday for the 2013 Monster Jam competition.
The Civic Center prepared by bringing in tons of dirt for the show.
Meanwhile, drivers from all over the country made appearances throughout the Peoria area, showing off their trucks and signing autographs before the big show.
"People just love this sport. This is one of the only sports where you can come to the show, meet the driver, get autographs from us. They get to communicate with us. People just love this, they eat it up, and there's nothing like this," said Monster Jam Driver Steve Thompson.
The show starts Friday night at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets start at $10.
