PEORIA, Ill. -- A second set of arrival and departure flights will be added between Peoria and Denver.

United Airlines is adding the additional flights between General Wayne A. Downing Peoria International Airport (PIA) and Denver International Airport (DEN) in Denver, Colorado.

The flights will begin on June 7.

As of that date, United Airline will fly according to this daily schedule:

- Depart PIA 8:15 a.m.; Arrive DEN 9:55 a.m.

- Depart DEN 10:00 a.m.; Arrive PIA 1:06 p.m.

- Depart PIA 1:32 p.m.; Arrive DEN 2:53 p.m.

- Depart DEN 7:25 p.m.; Arrive PIA 10:31 p.m.

"This expanded schedule is in response to strong performance of United's existing Denver flights," said Gene Olson, Director of Airports. "These additional flights will add an option for Central Illinois travelers to Denver and will add additional flexibility for west coast cities."

Martin Kammerman, United's Senior Manager of Market Analysis, said, "United has seen a significant increase in customer interest in our flights to Denver...Passengers are using the connections at Denver to get to the 120 cities that United serves, such as Phoenix, Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay area."
