Morning fire leaves family of seven homeless

ARROWSMITH, Ill. -- A family of seven is homeless tonight after a morning fire in the village of Arrowsmith, just east of Bloomington.

According to the Pantagraph, firefighters were called to the home at 110 West Ulmer around 8 a.m. Neighbors say the residence, owned by Linda McCullum, was engulfed in flames.

Six other fire departments were called in to help battle the fire, and no one was injured.

The Red Cross is assisting the displaced family as the investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
