BLOOMINGTON Ill -- The 3rd annual Brad's Ride to Freedom took place Saturday.

Dozens of bikers went on a 5-hour poker run throughout Bloomington.

Their goal was to raise $15,000 and help raise awareness.

The ride was organized by Bart Alexander, who's brother committed suicide four years ago.

"We are all out here to help somebody that maybe doesn't have to go through a loved one committing suicide," said Alexander. "If we can save one life out here today, it would be worth everything we've done. That's our goal, and no one else has a fundraiser for the Crisis Team of McLean County. This is the only fundraiser that gives them money and helps them do what they do. We obviously need that."

All proceeds will go to the McLean County Center for Human Services Crisis Team.
