CREVE COEUR, Ill. -- Creve Coeur police are investigating a motorcycle crash that left one man dead.

Authorities said Julian Andrus, 49, of Creve Coeur, was traveling northbound in the 600 block of North Main street just before 11 a.m. Friday morning when his motorcycle veered off the roadway.

Andrus was reportedly not wearing a helmet and sustained multiple injuries.

He was transported to UnityPoint Health Methodist Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Autopsy results from Saturday reveal Andrus died from multiple traumatic injuries to his head, chest and abdomen.
