PEORIA, Ill. -- A Peoria man plead not guilty to murder and robbery charges in a Peoria County Courtroom on Friday.

Anthony Barlow, 25, was originally scheduled to appear Thursday via teleconferencing, but his attorney was not present in the court room.

Barlow's murder trial has been set for October 15th.

He is accused of shooting Yahya Doud "John" Mahmoud in November of 2011 during an armed robbery.

After being featured as our Manhunt Monday fugitive, Barlow was arrested in June on armed robbery charges in connection to the incident.

On Tuesday, he was indicted on murder charges.

Barlow is the second person charged with the homicide. Robert Buford, 25, is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted of aggravated battery.
