WASHINGTON, Ill. -- Washington High School's athletes became the spectators Monday night, as they enjoyed a party hosted by some locally grown NFL talent.

Four former local standouts now in the NFL, hosted the Chicago Bears game watch party for Washington athletes and their families.

"It really is just bringing up the morale of everyone in Washington as we try to recover from all this," said Washington football player Gavin Dingledine. "It's good for us to all get out together and celebrate something like football that has always been the backbone of Washington in terms of sports and Washington and bringing us all together."

The players, Michael Hoomanawanui, Alex Tanney, Cody White and Andy Studebaker, were unable to attend but they did leave video messages and covered the entire cost of the evening.
