WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Tuesday, the United States Postal Service will unveil the Emancipation Proclamation Forever Stamp.
The issuing of the stamp coincides with the 150th anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln signing the document, which declared that enslaved people would be legally free.
The unveiling ceremony, which takes place at the national archives, will also include a reading of the famed document.
