Iconic Twinkies and Ho hos will soon return to store shelves.

The new owners of the Hostess brand name plan to reopen a closed Hostess plant in Columbus, Georgia this summer.

The plant, located about 2 hours east of Atlanta, will produce, Twinkies, Hostess cup cakes, Ho hos and Ding Dongs.

Customers should start seeing the snack cakes and treats for sale sometime in July.

Last month, Apollo Global Management and Metropoulos & Company paid $410 million for the bankrupt Hostess and Dolly Madison brand, along with five bakeries and equipment.
