PEORIA, Ill. -- A new company in Peoria is seeking business partners and investors as it continues to get off the ground.
Thrive Capital Partners has a plan to fill the former Blaine-Sumner School with businesses that give back to the community.
On Wednesday, CEO Tim Krueger invited political and business leaders for a tour of the building, which has been revamped for business space.
Krueger says social impact can happen through business growth with the right people on board.
"People in the community, companies, foundations that really want to invest in their community, make money, and make a difference and we're working with companies. We've got three already that we're working with, building their business plan to hopefully launch when the investment dollars are in,” Krueger.
Thrive is currently a candidate to be part of a business model with Hub Global. The goal is to generate a workforce committed to employee care and environmental consideration.
