New resident introduced at Shedd Aquarium

CHICAGO, Ill -- There was a big announcement at Chicago's Shedd Aquarium Tuesday.

Penguin fans got to see the newest female penguin. The little rockhopper was born just nine months ago.

Since male and female penguins look exactly alike, the aquarium had to do a blood test to determine if the penguin was a he or a she.

Aquarium staff announced the winning name on Tuesday morning.

A penguin look-a-like did the honors and unveiled "Ruggles" as the baby penguin's name, chosen from a list based on its native habitats.
