PEORIA Ill -- Police responded to a call at 1725 N. Bestor Street in Peoria at around 8 pm.
Authorities say the residents of the home heard someone trying to kick in their front door.
Police say four shots were then fired through a side window, and the suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
No injuries were reported.
