Normal police arrest three people on drug charges

NORMAL, Ill. -- Normal police announced Friday that they have arrested three people on drug charges.

Detectives from the Normal Police Department Vice Crimes Unit arrested the suspects in the 1600 block of Northbrook Drive

Arrested were Phillip Tinch, 29, Shelton Walker, 31, and Paul Tinch, 24.

Authorities say the arrests stem from an investigation into alleged acts of distribution and sales of large quantities of heroin and cocaine.

Police recovered 23.2 grams of crack cocaine, 22.1 grams of heroin and $261 from the residence.
