Normal police ask for help in finding suspect in robberies

NORMAL, Ill. -- The Normal Police Department is asking for the community's help on finding the suspect in two armed robberies.

The robberies both occured at Kroger's,1550 E. College Avenue.

On January 29 at 4:30 am, a suspect entered Kroger and demanded money from an employee while wielding a handgun.

The suspect returned to the same Kroger on February 16, at approximately 3:26 am and demanded money from an employee while brandishing a handgun. Both times the suspects exited the store with an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency.

The suspect is described as a male between 5'09 and 6 foot tall, with a thin to medium build and between 25 and 35 years.
