Normal police make arrests in two separate robbery incidents

NORMAL, Ill. -- Normal police announced Tuesday that they have made arrests in two separate robbery incidents.

On Monday, police three men for their parts in an Armed Robbery in the 300 block of W. Virginia Avenue in Normal.

On December 23, a male victim reported that multiple men approached him demanding money and drugs, brandished a firearm and began striking and kicking him. Both suspects jumped into a vehicle driven by a third male and fled the scene.

Bobby Harris, 27, and Donovan Gilbert, 23, both from Bloomington, were arrested and being held on $250,000 bond. Sean M. Langford, 23, from Bloomington was held on $100,000 bond.

On Tuesday, authorities arrested Trent J. Orr, 21, for the October Armed Robbery of the Freedom Oil Store, 601 S. Main Street in Normal.

A clerk reported that a male came into the business with his face covered and demanded money while inferring he was armed with a weapon. The male suspect left the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

All four suspects are currently being held at the McLean County Jail.
