NORTHERN ILLINOIS -- While we dodged a bullet Wednesday, Northern Illinois was not so lucky.
The National Weather Service is looking at about a dozen potential tornadoes that spawned from Northwestern Illinois all the way across to Chicago land.
There were also 50 mile-per-hour gusts and dime-sized hail causing damage in Chicago.
The storm is even blamed for a house fire in the burbs.
This house is believed to have been set on fire by lightning.
So far, no death or injuries have been reported due to Wednesday's storms.
