One dead in Morton mobile home fire

MORTON, Ill. – One man is dead after a Wednesday morning mobile home fire.

Crews responded just before 8 a.m. to the 400 block White Oak Drive on a report of a mobile home on fire.

Aaron Ishmael, 93, was pronounced dead at the scene of apparent smoke inhalation. The Tazewell County coroner says the official cause of death is pending.

The cause of the fire is unknown. The Morton Fire Department and State Fire Marshall are investigating.
