One year later Bloomington Police still search for information in fatal assault

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – It has been one year since the body of Haileigh Eichhorn was found in rural Standford, Ill.

The Bloomington Police Department is still looking for information on the days and hours leading up to her death.

Eichhorn, 26, was last seen alive on Sunday, April 28, 2013. Her body was found more than a week later by a farmer spraying his field near the intersection of 1100 north and 150 East in rural Stanford.

An autopsy showed Eichhorn was the victim of a fatal assault.

One year later, police are still asking for information from anyone who may have seen Eichhorn prior to her death.
