Pekin Police Chief graduates from FBI National Academy Program

PEKIN, Ill. -- Pekin Police Chief Greg Nelson, along with 207 other law enforcement officers graduated from the FBI National Academy Program at Quantico, Virginia on September 20.

Men and women from 49 states attended the program. Included in the class are members of law enforcement agencies from the District of Columbia, 22 International countries, three military organizations, and one federal civilian organization.

The National Academy Program offers 10 weeks of investigative, management, and fitness training for selected officers having proven records of professionals within their agencies.

FBI Director James Comey attended the ceremony, and was the principal speaker.
