PEKIN, Ill. -- Pekin police are asking for the public's help in finding a bank robber.

Just before noon on Tuesday, the Heartland Bank at 3400 Court Street in Pekin was robbed.

A white man in his late 20's entered the bank and passed a note to the teller asking for money. He did not display a weapon but got impatient with the teller and took the money right out of the drawer.

The suspect then left the building on foot, heading westbound.

Pekin police say he was wearing a blue t-shirt pulled over a dark sweatshirt with khaki pants.

He was also wearing a dark stocking cap.
