PEKIN Ill -- A Tazewell County judge sentenced 23-year-old Tyler Bee to five years in prison after he vandalized Lakeside Cemetery in May.

The state's attorney's office says Bee received prison time because he was on probation for a prior felony of aggravated battery on a government employee.

Two other men involved in the vandalism only received 2 years probation.

Days before Memorial Day, the three men turned over dozens of headstones at the Lakeside Cemetery, causing tens of thousands of dollars in damage.

Pekin Police say they were drunk.

Residents came together to put many of the stones back in place before the holiday.

All three men will be back in court on September 21st for a restitution hearing.
