Pekin teen to be sentenced in murder trial next week

PEKIN, Ill. -- The trial of Daughlton Calvin, 19, of Pekin is over.

However, Judge Kevin Galley will no announce his verdict until next Thursday.

Daughlton Calvin stands accused of giving a fatal dose of methadone to two young men from Morton.

Calvin relinquished his right to a jury trial, instead letting Judge Galley decide his sentence.

Each drug-induced homicide charge is punishable by up to 30 years in prison.
